Empower Manufacturing Case Study
Rename and rebrand a 40-year-old precision manufacturing company that leverages the company’s quality reputation but pushes forward the innovative strategies and updated values of new ownership with the goal of attracting the best skilled tradespeople in the region.
As precision fabricators, Empower turns metal into instruments of energy transfer. We dove into Empower’s identity and put into words to the values and beliefs the company was already practicing. Empower’s brand philosophy is one of employee-first precision and innovative machining processes—deliver the best, develop the brightest, become the greatest.
Empower’s visual identity employs a series of boxes to spell out EMPOWER, as well as the abbreviated EM. The boxes can be rearranged to create multiple shapes and logo marks depending on use and application. The simple and approachable sensibility plays into the customer’s need for clear communication and on-time delivery. The mark we designed and philosophy we developed was used to improve talent attraction and create an ethos and mission the team could believe in and act on.
To create a full experience of the brand, we designed signage, wayfinding and branded collateral at Empower’s facility. Bright floods of color and brand language create brand recognition and consistency throughout Empower’s space.
