Historic West Fourth
We designed and launched a brand identity for a stretch of historic buildings along West Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati with the goal of turning what was an egress into a vibrant destination.
The Loring Group is a real estate development company with vision. Instead of just buying buildings, sprucing them up and raising rents, The Loring Group decided to invest in the idea of the neighborhood itself. After purchasing numerous properties along West Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati and hiring us to brand them, they realized there would be more power in changing the way Cincinnatians think about West Fourth—as a livable destination where historic architecture houses unique characters and unforgettable experiences.
Research Our listening sessions netted a set of insights into the character of the neighborhood that drove the brand’s creation. We dove into Fourth Street’s past and unearthed stories of wealthy industrialists, nineteenth century hotspot hotels, and high-end fashion department stores. Fourth Street has always been grand and creative, but livable and approachable.
Brand Collateral Additionally, we developed a launch and public relations strategy for the brand’s assets, including a website and social media channels. We designed an event around the brand’s most important assets: the people who make West Fourth the vibrant place it is and will be.
